Our service starts with getting on a panoramic cabin equipped with large windows that can accommodate up to 80 people. After the place where the tree cover is finished and the pure limestone surface starts to be seen is 1900 meters high from the sea level. Our Cable car journey continues at a height that refreshes our guests over the red and black pines rooted in untouched lands, and sometimes goes over the lower regions, on stunted shrubs and leafy trees. Rare cedars, distinguished from the leaves of the emerald green colored needles and the flat typical hill branches, are located intensively in the medium height land in this National Park The region where the tree cover is over and where only the lichen and algae plants can survive, starts at about 1,900 m above sea level. Among the local wild animals there are a number of tufted and predatory bird species; mammals such as wild boars, wolves, lynxes, yews, black turtles, lizards and small reptiles such as chameleons. The executives of Olympos cable-car, are aware of their responsibility for the visitors who spends time there. Apart from our staff who are responsible for the technical facility operated in the cable-car, peak station manager, trained in Alpine rescue techniques, is responsible from the security of visitors and for the functionality of the safety equipment at summit station. An independent control authority appointed by us inspects the safety of human and technical infrastructure in accordance with the legal regulations. For the safety of the facility, we appointed the esteemed ORSA company in Antalya for coordination and security affairs with the local gendarmerie and about the security services.
Our firm is in close cooperation with National Park Forest Administrations on forest protection. The unique location of our summit station, is also helpful for early determination of possible dangers that may happen and watching the forest. Our establishments are equipped with automatic emergency and fire extinguishing devices, whose maintenances are done periodically, we also have a large number of biodegradable fire extinguishing devices. Its water storage fire extinguishing pond in sub-station creates a small habitat for fish which are released into it. Automatic fire protection equipment installed at the park station, is fed from a fire water reservoir with a large capacity.
At the bottom and peak stations there are first-aid staff, rescue and first-aid equipment just in case, as well as a fully automated cardiac defibrillator in both stations.
In addition to the ambulance services of local government hospitals, we have a contract for health services with Yaşam Hospital in Kemer, which has been conducting extensive medical activities since 1996. Apart from the private patients, Private Yaşam Hospital provides health services to the members of SGK, many governmental organs and the members of private establishments.
