The cable car starts from Kemer district of Antalya and reaches the summit of Mount Tahtalı at 2,365 meters altitude.

What is the cabin capacity? +

Each cabin has a capacity of 80 passengers + 1 staff member, totaling 81 people.

What's available at the summit? +

At the summit there are restaurants, cafes, observation terraces, hiking trails and various activity areas.

Who operates the cable car? Municipality? +

Olympos Cable Car is operated by the private sector. It does not belong to the municipality.

Who built the cable car system? +

The cable car line was built by the international Doppelmayr/Garaventa company, which specializes in this field.

Is the cable car maintained regularly? +

Yes. All maintenance operations are carried out periodically by expert engineers in accordance with international standards.

Why does it operate in cloudy or foggy weather? +

As long as visibility is sufficient and within wind limits, the cable car can operate safely.

Is there a mosque? Where is it located? +

Yes. The mosque is located inside the building at the upper station.

What is the length of the cable car line in kilometers? +

The line length is 4,350 meters.

How long does the journey to the summit take? +

A one-way journey takes approximately 10 minutes.

How are we rescued if the system stops during the cable car journey? +

In case of a possible emergency, specially trained teams are ready for all rescue scenarios. Cabins are evacuated in a controlled manner with safety systems.

What views can be seen during the cable car journey? +

Mediterranean coasts, Kemer and surroundings, Cedar forests, Beydağları Coastal National Park and Antalya city center can be seen.

No. Bears do not live in this region.

Predators like wolves are rarely seen, but they do not approach humans.

Are there mountain goats? +

Yes. The region is famous for wild goats and they can be observed from time to time.

What animal species might we encounter? +

In the national park, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, wild goats, various bird species and reptiles live in their natural habitats.
